HUEVOS PADRINO INAUGURATES HOUSE FOR HENS IN BARN SYSTEM AT HIS VALDEMORO PRODUCTION CENTRE
For this project we have designed a prefabricated building of 115 x 24.6 and H 5.7. Made of galvanised metal structure A 5 cm thick sandwich panel has been installed on the roof and walls.
The building has CE marking for steel and aluminium structures.
The installation has a truss for a second level inside the building. The first floor is accessed by metal stairs mounted both inside and outside the building, where a terrace with handrail has been installed.
In order to provide the house with mechanical ventilation, a fixed ridge was built on the roof, with a movable internal closing system in two sections. The 144 compact letterbox windows, installed along the length and height of the building, allow air to flow into the interior.
It is also installed automation to use the windows in emergency mode.
In terms of cooling, the PAD COOLING system has been chosen, installing windows and a 15 cm thick cellulose panel, using water as a cooling element to cool the air as it passes through the panel into the interior of the building.
The installation of fans at the rear of the building allows forced ventilation when necessary.
To house the hens, we have installed the TECNO LOGGIA AVIARY SYSTEM, with two levels of 4 rows of 3 tiers each, where the birds’ freedom of movement in the house is guaranteed, thus contributing to their welfare. This aviary model has, among others, the following features:
- Compact design with optimal distribution of nests, feeders, drinkers and perches
- Easy inspection of the entire system thanks to rear opening of the nest with a centralised system.
- Nest with perforated mats and movable floor, for better cleaning of the eggs
- Egg belt cover that can be used as usable area
- Increased egg belt width for improved egg transport and reduced damage
- Designed with the worker in mind.
- Quality materials with high corrosion resistance.
Feed is distributed by means of a chain system
For egg collection we installed the NIAGARA system on the sides of the aviary and placed an egg conveyor to the grading centre.
The system is equipped with intermediate and under aviary cleaning
In short, an installation designed for ease of handling by the operator of the production centre and to provide welfare for the birds, guaranteeing both their freedom of movement and an optimal environment for their development.
